ASV WEBSITE POLICY
- This website was composed for the use of the ASV and contains information and other elements essential for that purpose. We have a news page where current information is posted. We accept information about archaeological events mainly about the State of Virginia that affect us and others which are in some way relevant at our discretion.
- Information should be electronically sent to the webmaster for consideration.
- We do not accept advertising, nor links to non-archaeological sites.
- We do have items for sale that are copyrighted to the ASV and by arrangement, other entities that we accept as we see fit.
- We do not accept political statements and we do not endorse individual candidates, but may endorse particular items that further our archaeological aims pursuant to IRS Codes for 501.c.3 organizations of which we are one.
- We reserve the right to NOT post items without explanation.
- Unless otherwise arranged, information on these pages is copyrighted to the ASV and if used, should be either cited appropriately or permission sought prior to use per the standards of fair practice.
